Job Title: Sales Support Consultant

Salary: £52,000 - £65,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Location: Wimborne, United Kingdom

Benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays

Job Summary –

This role will be at the forefront of Caterpillar Marine’s energy transition, leading conversations with our dealers and customers on their future needs. It will be accountable for business development of marine emissions upgrades, retrofits and repowers by leading the technical sales process with Cat Dealers and customers while also collaborating with our internal stakeholders on new products and continuous improvement.

Additional Info –

Hybrid work pattern - 3 days office or travel, 2 days remote.

Up to 15% global travel

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the technical sales process with Cat dealers and customers for marine emissions upgrades and retrofits as the product and commercial support expert. Primary focus will be supporting the commercial business plan.

  • Manages and acts on customer and dealer feedback.

  • Consulting with the Industry team, commercial team, and dealers in developing and implementing customer solutions designed to maximize product value and price in support of the energy transition.

  • Stays abreast of national, regional, and local emissions regulations and works with regulatory affairs team to inform and influence rulemaking with regional air boards and regulating bodies.

  • Identifies grant and subsidy programs for emissions reduction available to customers and develops sales initiatives to promote qualifying Cat products.

  • Develops and maintains go-to-market and training materials for emissions upgrades.

  • Administers training to dealers, Caterpillar Sales Managers, and Deployment Champions.
