AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP Compliance Business Partner -Market Access Leadership in Wilmington, Delaware

Reporting directly to the VP, Global Compliance, North America. Accountable to lead compliance efforts for the Market Access leadership team, as well as the subject matter expert for the Market Access function. Responsible for developing the compliance strategy for the US & Oncology Business Unit with regard to Market Access, supporting compliance program elements for the US region, and will contribute to the direction and control of the compliance function. Leads on key strategic business initiatives from a compliance perspective and accountable for deployment of an effective compliance program in the US. Partners closely with Assurance function in the US and other Global Compliance specialists.

  • Implement and maintain an effective compliance program as a

strategic business partner lead (including support for monitoring, auditing,

and assurance, etc.)

  • Set operational compliance objectives (aligned with Sustainability & Global Compliance strategy and objectives) to ensure embedded and streamlined approach to governance and assurance

  • Support implementation of AZ risk framework and risk register, including mitigation of corporate risks (e.g. data privacy, ABAC, third party risk, etc.)

  • Manage local/area oversight of all aspects of governance,

including working with counterparts in other SET areas in areas of overlapping

accountability when considering new and innovative contracting strategies

  • Serve as the Compliance representative for the ACERT process and advise on Fair Market Value assessments

  • Support driving and embedding our Code of Ethics and assist in Market Access specific training, as appropriate

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience-


  • Senior professional - compliance, law, accountancy preferred

  • Significant experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry

  • Knowledge and experience of corporate governance, health care

regulations, laws and standards

  • Demonstrable management skills and experience

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills

  • Strong collaborative, partnering, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong ability to work independently

  • High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute
