Key job responsibilities

• Listening to customers/partners and managing both direct and indirect (complicated/complex) contractual opportunities to meet their requirement as a strong supporter for sales team

• identifying compliance and procurement challenges and designing best structure with creativity as well as agility

• with ownership creating procedures, methods, and operating practice and educating/coaching both internal and external customers about AWS contractual scheme for their best procurement

A day in the life

• You will represent Japan and participate in and oversee group reviews of all customer contractual and purchase documents including at global level. You will hear variety of global examples while you will have opportunity to share yours with your global peers.

• You need to coordinate internal stakeholders, mainly to facilitate legal and operational activities for contract/agreement negotiation, and support the competitive bid process in reviewing RFPs by using your knowledge and expertise.

• You will maintain contract records/files and manage, track, and ensure adherence to all contractual obligations to maintain all the stakeholders to be compliant.

• you will analyze the situation, customers’ requirement, be creative to design and propose your ideas on contractual scheme to realize both AWS and customers’ goal.

Basic Qualifications

• Japanese and English Fluency

• At least 5 years of contracts management, procurement, legal or other relevant experience with public sector customers

• Experience managing large technology focused contracts.

• A background with government contracting officials, systems integrators, prime contractors, subcontractors, and resellers.

Preferred Qualifications

• University or Postgraduate Degree or Equivalent Experience

• Expertise in reviewing and negotiating commercial terms across a broad range of technology contracts

• Experience in CLM tools and Salesforce
