Do you have a strong interest in networking hardware and software? Are you well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure? Robert Half is hiring candidates with a high attention to detail and a passion for the field for a Network Engineer role. This Network Engineer position is an opportunity for contract / temporary to hire employment and is based in the Tampa, Florida area.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hubs, bridges, hardware and routers

• Initiate and manage network test facilities

• Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks

• Develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks through the use of traditional and creative methods

• Collaborate with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks

  Requirements - Adeptness in Meraki

• Foundational knowledge in switches

• Cisco CCNA experience

• Expertise in Cisco Firewall

• Strong familiarity with routers

• Cisco Wireless experience

• An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is preferred
