Job Description

  • Responsible for Symbicort brand strategy & brand planning

  • Assists with development of marketing plans, which may include distribution channel solutions, sales activities, SnT, listing activities and promotional materials for specific therapeutic area or brand.

  • Assists with development of budgets and monitoring of expenses

  • Tracks and analyzes brand/product and competitive performance and trends

  • Develops materials for the sales force to support effective sales effort and educate sales representatives on company and competitor products

  • Coordinates and/or conducts special studies and promotional projects

  • Reporting to Inhaled portfolio marketing manager


  • Good knowledge of the disease area including asthma/COPD or demonstrating potential as a fast learner on product knowledge, local and global business environment and understanding of local healthcare system & account access

  • A top performer with a history of tangible results in previous roles in a challenging market

  • Clearly defined product management / brand planning skills with the demonstrated ability to own and promote brands successfully in competitive markets

  • Demonstrate understanding of broad business operations with an ability to inspire and collaborate across functions and influence internal stakeholders

  • Performance rating > 3 in the past two years
