About you

You are familiar with and have experience in the Lift service business. In this role, you will work closely and lead a team of Technicians to provide best-in-class support to Otis' facilities.

In this role, you will report to the Service Field Manager.

As a Section Manager, you will be responsible for

• Planning and scheduling of monthly service activities.

• Ensure all monthly Lift Service activities are completed as scheduled.

• Achieve breakdown ratio and response time target.

• Ensure prompt response to breakdown maintenance and check all service equipment is in a safe and good working condition.

• Carry out standby activities promptly and appropriately.

• Train new Field Operations colleagues as per company and industry requirements.

• Manage staffing issues and enforce team compliance with the Otis Absolutes.

• Ensure all maintenance and repair works are carried out in accordance with company requirements andconforming to all applicable laws and regulations enforced.

• Timely submission of time tickets and team over time.

• Comply with Otis 3 Absolutes - Ethics, Safety, and Quality.

What you will need to be successful

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience as a Supervisor/ Senior Engineer within the Lift industry.

• Relevant education in the Engineering, Construction, and Manufacturing industry.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a team of Field Operations Technicians.

• Good communication skills in Malay and English, both spoken and written; knowledge in other language(s) would be an added advantage.

• Possess a valid driving license and own a car.

• Must be willing to travel to work sites as required.
