nVent Regional Sales Manager – RAYCHEM & TRACER (Industrial) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead industrial channel sales in B ritish Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwest Ontario for our RAYCHEM and TRACER heat tracing products and heat management systems
Promote nVent’s Industrial Heating Solutions (IHS) capabilities with the goal of developing and securing product and services business related to capital project, sustaining, and maintenance opportunities
Promote nVent products to consulting engineers, and end users that provide solutions for processes and heat management.
Initiate, maintain, and grow positive relationships with industrial clients in the territory
Collaborate and develop positive relationships with the region's existing manufacturer’s rep firms
Work with the respective Regional Sales & Operations Leadership teams to establish, implement, and be accountable for strategies and plans to drive growth
Coordinate Proposal & Estimating activities with applicable functional teams to secure new product and service opportunities
Prepare & present strategic IHS product and services presentations to engineering & owner clients virtually and in person
Regularly update and lead Salesforce.com CRM tool including tasks, activities, project updates cross territorial teamwork, and sales funnel development
YOU HAVE:
Academic background: Engineering degree or equivalent experience selling technical products
Ideally, 5+ years of outside sales experience with a focus on industrial sales
Experience selling technical products and leading manufacturing sales representatives is highly preferred
Experience selling heat tracing products is helpful or other relatable products
Ability to work 100% remotely and travel on average 60% through the sales region. The ideal candidate would be located in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Kelowna, or Coquitlam, CA.
