IHG Food and Beverage Coordinator (Part Time) - InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort in Sanctuary Cove, Australia

At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for a part time Food and Beverage Coordinator to join our team.

Your role will play an integral part of the Food and Beverage team, you’ll be a local expert, and a proud InterContinental brand ambassador. You will provide administration support to the wider Food and Beverage team, assisting with daily support to the Food & Beverage leadership team as required.

Your day to day

  • Administrative responsibilities across all Food and Beverage outlets.

  • Ensuring customer experience is in line with IHG standards and policies.

  • Supporting multiple Food and Beverage operations – restaurant and bars, room service and banquets when necessary.

  • Delivering and maintaining HACCP related administrative work, including but not limited to - monthly and annual auditing of documentation, physical HACCP tours of hotel Food & Beverage Outlets, reporting HACCP non-compliance to departments, planning, conducting, and recording HACCP Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with HACCP SOP’s and auditing monthly to keep to standard.

  • Attending monthly Risk management meetings and provide HACCP update.

  • Assisting with the administration of planning and implementing special events and promotional work as directed by management.

  • Ensuring all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner as per Hotel policies & procedures.

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant & Bars related position is highly regarded

  • Previous background in an Administrative position

  • Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or in Food & Beverage related field preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous

  • Valid QLD RSA Competency card is required

  • A team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and priortise workloads

  • The part time hours will be approximately 5 days a week, 6 hours a day
