Aerotek is hiring for a Journeyman Electrician/PLC Technician! This position is a direct hire offering full benefits. (401k, health, vision, dental insurance, PTO, & more)

Job Description:

The electrician will be responsible for routine and emergency repair of industrial electrical systems. Troubleshoots electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate test equipment to detect and effect required maintenance repairs or replacement requirements. Performs maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarm and lighting circuits. Conducts insulation resistance measurements of electrical cables to determine condition and effects repairs or replacements as required. Maintains adequate inventories of electrical spare parts and requisitions

replacements as required. Maintains electrical system maintenance histories notating date, and extent of repairs and/or alterations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician

• Ability to troubleshoot PLC's. (Siemens & Allen Bradley)

• Ability to repair gearboxes and motors

• Experience working up to 480v

Shift: 2nd or 3rd + OT
