Team Description:

The Global Procurement team is investing in resources both to support the team growth and anticipated growth in spend. The vision is to build a procurement capability that acts as a competitive advantage to Regeneron and evolve the organizational structure to focus the team on end-to-end category accountability and invest in appropriate category leadership, including further development of our center of excellence and establishing an international markets procurement team.

The global Procurement team will be structured with category teams having end to end accountability for category management, sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationship management for assigned categories. These category teams will be enabled by procurement colleagues in an expanded Center of Excellence, an International Markets team, and a Capability Center all accountable for driving consistency and efficiency.

A typical day might include:

• Accountable for supporting the definition and implemention of the global Raw materials Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.

• Works closely with stakeholders to support discussions related to the Raw materials Categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.

• Supports negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Raw Materials Category as assigned.

• Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.

• Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Raw materials categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team.

• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

• Supports category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.

• Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.

This role might be for you if:

• The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma.

• Experience successfully supporting global category teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories

• Builds relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results for Regeneron.

• The candidate should demonstrate success supporting cross-functional teams to drive results in the Raw Materials categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

• Provide insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.

• Uses external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s kowledge of supply market dynamics.

• Individual who is experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to drive change and improvement.

• Demonstrated success supporting the global supply market evaluation process using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.

• Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

• Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
