Position Overview:

  • This position is for a skilled Software Engineer to join our NX QA Team. The role primarily involves collaborating with the NX development teams to understand project test requirements, and focusing on test scenario development and automation, and testing of NX Open APIs, and creating generic tools that will help with automation of testing activities. The ideal candidate will excel in authoring test scenarios and in automating them while ensuring the stability and reliability of the automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the NX Development teams to comprehend and review project requirements, project testing needs.

  • Develop test scenarios around projects and around NX Open APIs

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing workflows supporting NX projects and NX Open APIs.

  • Manual testing of projects where automation is not feasible.

  • Work on developing tools and scripts that will improve efficiency and help with automation of various QA activities.

Required Core Skills:

  • Engineering Graduate Bachelor's/Master’s in Mechanical, IT, Comp. Science

  • Good understanding of NX or any other 3D CAD Application.

  • Knowledge of NX Open API and CAD customization (any CAD software if not NX)

  • Hands on knowledge of python, .Net/C#, Java, scripting..

Required Secondary Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different time zones.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently within time constraints.

  • Capability for independent work as well as collaborative development.

  • Eagerness to continuously improve and learn new areas.

  • Willing to work from office.

Relevant Experience: 3-5 years

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mech, IT, Computer Science) or equivalent
