University of Pennsylvania Full Time Instructor, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, invites applications from qualified individuals for full-time Instructor position in the Department with a focus on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching and research, is able to build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally. This specialty program educates predoctoral and postgraduate dental students in Prosthodontics.

Candidates must be eligible for a Pennsylvania state dental license or a Restricted Pennsylvania state dental license. Preference will be given to those holding a DScD , DMD or DDS. This position will report to the Department Division Chief of Preventive and Restorative Sciences. Responsibilities will include predoctoral and postdoctoral clinical and didactic teaching and research in the areas specified above. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply. This position is a 1- year contract, spanning July 1 through June 30 of a given year. The is renewable for reappointment at the end of the academic year.
