Job Description

Our Shared Services department in Danfoss Digital & Group IT is looking for a Senior IT Consultant. You will play a crucial role in advising clients on how to leverage technology to achieve their business objectives. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will engage with clients across the globe and colleagues from IT to ensure we offer IT solutions that align with our strategic goals, architectural principles and strategy.

As part of Shared Services you will work with a growing portfolio in the areas of ITSM and Non-IT Service Delivery, Facility Management, Project and Portfolio management and Business processes

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Meet with clients to conduct assessments of their current processes, business use cases and existing IT solutions, to identify areas for improvement

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

• Identify IT solutions that meet our clients' specific requirements, by utilizing solutions from our existing portfolio or scouting the market for new opportunities when necessary

• Demonstrate existing solutions to stakeholders and ensure smooth onboarding process

• Develop close relationship with our vendors and external partners

• Develop recommendations and roadmaps for optimizing the solutions in your area of responsibility

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT consulting.

• Maintain a strong relationship with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services on an ongoing basis

Background & Skills

The ideal candidates must possess the below

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Experience working in IT consulting roles, with a focus on advising clients on technology solutions

• A solid understanding of Program, Project, and Portfolio management methodologies and Resource management principles. Technical knowledge on how to implement these processes via diverse portfolio of tools incl. but not limited to Planisware, MS Project, MS Planner, Smartsheet, and Monday.com

• Hands-on experience in facility management solutions incl. but not limited to - Energy Management systems, Physical Access Control, and CCTV surveillance.

• Experience in data analytic tools (PowerBI) to create necessary data visualizations

• Knowledge of ITIL framework and strong service-oriented mindset

• Understanding of basic infrastructure platforms and components

• Proficiency in English, in both written and verbal communication
