Job Description

Overview: We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of the Analytics team at Zenith generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more. We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Associate Directors are often the face of our brand.

Role Objectives:

Working closely with both the Business Planning and Activation teams, the Associate Director, Analytics will contribute to the design of the data strategy to tie our clients’ marketing to real-world business goals. Our Associate Directors work very closely with the Analyst (which will report directly to the AD) to help them stay on track with day-to-day client deliverables. They also contribute crucial intellectual capital by designing measurement plans based on their client’s business needs, using data to tell great stories. Associate Directors also work closely with their VP to build an Analytics strategy and execute on that plan in accordance with their team. This role reports directly into the VP, Analytics.

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing/Advertising or related field

  • 6+ years of experience working in an Analytics capacity

  • Agency experience is a must, as is knowledge of Marketing/Advertising industries

  • Prior experience working on Retail clients is a nice-to-have, but not required

  • 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role

  • Ability to service clients, partners and internal stakeholders by understanding their needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency

  • Must be able to effectively work collaboratively with a team as well as independently

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients, and ability and comfort with presenting to senior level clients

  • Responsive to ad-hoc requests, using all available resources to provide clear and meaningful insights and recommendations

  • Understanding of a broad range of online advertising media channels (OLV, CTV, Display, Search, Social, Programmatic) is a must, and experience in offline media (TV, Out-of-home, Print) is highly preferred

  • Ability to develop and execute on Analytics frameworks such as learning agendas, measurement plans, test & learn roadmaps, and ability to steer complex analytics projects

  • Extensive experience in pulling and aggregating campaign reporting data, including: Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics, CM360, DV360, GA4, Social (in-platform for partners like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc), Search Ads, Google Ads, site-served data

  • Experience with ad verification tools such as IAS & Moat

  • Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables) and experience working with large data sets

  • Understanding of advanced models such as linear regressions, multi-touch attribution modeling, MMM, and cross-device measurement (including their strengths, limitations, and how to read/action on their outputs)

  • Ability to mine data, extract key learnings, collaborate with Investment and Strategy on key insights, and clearly present recommended actions and implications

  • Ability to act in a consultative role, evaluating and providing an informed point-of-view on new KPIs, data sets, and measurement partners

  • Partner with activation teams to provide comprehensive analyses that will inform future media decisions on budgets, partners, strategies, and vendors

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about consumer behavior, media and technology trends, and the future of media, plus experience and interest in relevant client categories

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $140,500 - $150,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
