We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Calibre OPCVerify team in Cairo, Egypt.

Calibre OPCverify is a grid-based optical process simulator and OPC results verification tool that is designed to predict a manufacturing process window for wafer contours. It supports the industry-standard OPC usage models and seamlessly integrates with other Siemens EDA tools.

This is a role with a truly global scope, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement of one our most important services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customers’ expectations by achieving high quality and on time delivery.

  • Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.

  • Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.

  • Works with general supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.

Required skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.

  • 1 to 4 years of experience.

  • Proficiency in software programming with C++.

  • Familiarity with software algorithms and data structures.

  • Strong understanding of the IC flow, Semiconductor fabrication, and Physical Verification is advantageous.

  • Experience in programming for GPU is preferred.

  • Understanding of Machine Learning techniques is a plus.

  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
