As AI Software Engineer you will work in a global team of experts delivering Data Science products and know-how to diverse areas all over the tire business.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Be integral part of projects in areas like Sales, Marketing or Manufacturing;

• Design pipelines by creating and connecting databases, APIs and data warehouses to our AI solutions;

• Collaborate with the data science team to design and implement front-end and back-end systems that effectively utilize their AI models;

• Understand the Continental Tires data landscape with its diverse applications and architectures;

• Be a partner in connecting the necessary experts from business and IT to solve problems;

• Get involved into different tasks at once and involve yourself with our team to get the support you need;

• Support in shaping the processes and organization to leverage the business value Data Science can bring to our enterprise.

• Academic degree in Computer Science or similar studies;

• Minimum 1 year of IT or industry working experience;

• Good knowledge of object oriented programming languages like Python or Java;

• Experience with data extraction from diverse sources like common data bases, streaming, APIs or SAP systems;

• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Statistics - is a plus;

• Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP) - is a plus;

• Experience with Agile methodologies;

• Reliable team player with structured self-organized workstyle;

• Good knowledge of data intensive IT architectures;

• Very good communication skills;

• Experience working in a multinational company - is a plus;

• Proficient English language skills (written and spoken).
