KBR Associate Project Manager in Jung-gu, South Korea

Title:

Associate Project Manager

Summary:

Entry level Project Management position in Korea Energy Transition Center (KETC). This position will be responsible for all aspects of technology jobs (mainly basic engineering package development) including financial reporting, organization of technical resource, client interfacing, and project execution. The position will also require supporting proposal development and Sr. PM resources when needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under broad direction, this position is responsible for planning and execution of Technology projects (mainly basic engineering package development)

  • Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of KBR Technology.

  • Has responsibility for day-to-day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction.

  • May also serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized projects. Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities.

  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in university.

Experience and Skills:

  • Position requires ten (10) years in engineering / project management. Experience in EPC is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English are required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills such as relationship building and team motivation.

  • Leadership and/or management experience is required.

  • Candidates must show an enthusiastic attitude towards personnel development and be capable of easy transitioning from a leadership role to a support role.

  • Candidates must show a work history demonstrating a steady progression towards increased responsibility in their roles.

  • Backgrounds in technology and engineering assignments as well as field construction assignments are a plus.

  • Ability to manage project schedules effectively while maintaining flexibility in working hours.

Education:

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline)
