Boehringer Ingelheim Business Consultant - Amplify Clinical Project Manager in Ingelheim, Germany

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As a Business Consultant, you will be pivotal in shaping our projects. You will assist in defining the project scope and objectives, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. Your strategic planning skills will help us set and achieve both short-term and long-term goals within set deadlines.

  • When faced with multiple options for project progression, your decision-making skills will come into play. Your choices will be instrumental in guiding the project towards success.

  • Your role extends beyond our internal team. You will coordinate with third parties and vendors, ensuring smooth project execution. When multiple units are assigned to the same project, you will serve as the key point of contact, ensuring all actions are synergistic.

  • In addition, you will adjust schedules and targets as project needs or financing change, while simultaneously performing quality control throughout the project development to uphold the expected standards.

  • You will oversee the security and compliance of the project, including User Account Administration & Access Control, and license management. Your attention to these details will keep our operations secure and compliant.

  • As a key player in vendor management, you will be at the forefront of our relationships with system integrators. From initiating the contracting process to meticulous tracking, your role is crucial in ensuring seamless integration.

  • Your role in financial management is instrumental in shaping our financial landscape. You will be responsible for defining the budget and providing insightful financial outlooks.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in IT or a comparable field of study with several year of working experience in IT, preferably in the pharmaceutical area with knowledge in GxP systems

  • Experience in an interface role to internal and external business partners as well as in working in a virtual, international, and multicultural environment

  • Proven working experience in project management. Strong technology and financial skills for implementing and maintaining global business critical system and knowledge in Service Management.

  • Strong leadership skills with decisiveness to lead projects, improve efficiency, manage conflicts, and foster innovation. Excellent in multitasking, attention to detail, and promoting a free exchange of new ideas in the workplace.

  • Strategic thinker with critical thinking abilities to make complex decisions. Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus and quality orientation. Open to innovation and collaboration.

  • Excellent spoken and written English
