What does this role look like?

Lockheed Martin Space has an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program .

You will be involved in the research, design and develop test equipment / systems for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including RF, electro-optical and radiation detection equipment; radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Develop/design automated test equipment.

• Perform HW/SW integration of automated test equipment.

• Provide cable and board design and troubleshooting.

• Present and communicate effectively to a broad community.

We are looking for you to have:

• 5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.

• Must have at least an active DoD Interim Secret or higher clearance to be considered for this position. Thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

• Experience developing/designing card/box level test equipment.

• Automated Test Software with LabVIEW experience

• Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level test equipment.

• Must have at least an active DoD Interim Secret or higher clearance to be considered for this position. Thus US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

• LabVIEW - Certified Developer/ Architect preferred

• Formal Software Development and testing experience

• RF Test Experience

• LXI, cRIO & PXI Experience

• Standard ATE Equipment: Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, Power Meters, Counters, etc.

• Experience with cable and board design and troubleshooting.

• Experience presenting and communicating effectively to a broad technical community.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
