Applied Research Associates, Inc. Senior Intelligence Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii

Description

The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has an outstanding opportunity for accomplished Senior Intelligence Analyst in SIGINT, GEOINT, and all-source intelligence analysts with experience using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional and/or functional in nature. Successful applicants for these contingent positions will support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in the National Capital Region or on-site in Honolulu, HI.

These contingent positions supporting the DoD’s Assault Breaker II (ABII) program require candidates with experience performing a variety of intelligence collection management functions to support Government decisionmakers, including:

  • Interfacing with ABII program managers, technical experts, and operational entities to identify and refine intelligence requirements associated with their respective efforts

  • Providing Intelligence Community products and deliverables to ABII stakeholders to enable programmatic success

  • Developing production requirements to satisfy ABII intelligence needs where existing production is insufficient

  • Collaborating with the Intelligence Community, Defense Department, national labs, and academia to address foreign military-related threat issues

  • Generating intelligence-based recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other analytic documents

  • Sustaining intelligence support to long-term R&D and acquisition programs

  • Representing authoritatively ABII stakeholders in intelligence-related forums and establishing senior advisory panels to provide recommendations related to systems and technologies supporting ABII

  • Participation in working groups

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (with Government approval, relevant experience may be substituted for post-high school degrees)

  • 10 years of relevant experience

  • US citizen

  • Must have a current and active TS clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Understanding of foreign military order-of-battle, force generation, and/or enabling industry and infrastructure

  • Extensive intelligence analysis experience and expert understanding of Intelligence Community support arrangements and processes

  • Familiarity with acquisition intelligence and providing intelligence support to R&D life-cycle activities

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent time management skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Assault Breaker program, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and/or DARPA

  • Experience providing intelligence support to one or more of the following areas: space, land, air, and naval surface warfare, electronic warfare, and/or special operations

  • Experience providing intelligence support to Defense modeling and simulation and wargaming activities

This position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year + four option years) expected in September/October 2024 supporting the Department of Defense.
