WTW Compliance Business Partner in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Responsibilities
Identify, Plan and Apply
• Develop, implement, and maintain an efficient Compliance Function.
• Map the regulatory framework and respond to new or changed regulations.
• Assess whether policies and procedures adequately address regulatory or compliance strategic requirements.
• Close Compliance-owned actions and regulatory recommendations following internal/external audits.
• Identify compliance training needs and deliver compliance training within the Relevant Business.
• Identify and assess compliance and regulatory risks in the Relevant Business.
• Create and deliver an annual Compliance Plan.
• Communicate with colleagues in the Relevant Business as per the Compliance Plan.
• Conduct mandatory training classes for new comers related to business.
Support
• Champion Compliance at all levels of the Relevant Business.
• Partner with business management to define the Compliance strategy.
• Provide challenge and oversight on business management’s assessment and governance of compliance and regulatory risk.
• Review and challenge the design and structuring of specific transactions, new products, services, operational procedures, operational change and initiatives.
• Provide advice on the design of First Line of Defence quality assurance models.
• Oversight and support to complaint handlers, handling complaints in rare cases as appropriate.
• Record keeping in line with regulatory requirements and/or WTW policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected, alleged or actual breaches of regulatory requirements or WTW Compliance policies and procedures within the Relevant Business.
• Serve as the Money Laundering Responsible Officer for Willis Towers Watson Vietnam Insurance Broker.
• Serve as the Data Protection Officer for Willis Towers Watson Vietnam Insurance Broker.
Compliance Monitoring Overview
• Conducting monitoring activities in line with annual and ad-hoc plans.
• Ensuring remedial action and escalated issues to stakeholders.
• Supporting Excellence function in Excellence Reviews.
• Collecting and delivering compliance reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or higher required
• From 5-10 years experience at similar role at a MNC, non-life insurance company preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory and corporate governance.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and without direct supervision.
• Commercial awareness in managing compliance risks.
• Proactive, organized, methodical, analytical problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
