DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will provide oversight for the implementation, monitoring, and ongoing development of family support programs. You will act as the lead in the development and generation of grant application documents, including requests for proposals and applications; assist in the recommendation of grant and funding decisions, grant awards, as well as the negotiation and debriefing processes; assist in the determination and notification to existing sites regarding funding allocations through the grant renewal or award process; and review grant programs including agency administrative spending, program measures, and program performance. Additionally, you will review written reports on findings, corrective action plans, and follow up accordingly. You will also review annual budgets and assure spending is aligned with protocols, and prepare annual reports as well as other documentation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You are required to report to the Harrisburg office at least once a month and as directed by your supervisor. It is possible during the training period that more frequent days in the office will be required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
