Oracle Manager - Indirect Taxes in GURUGRAM, India

Job Description

  • Lead and collaborate with Tax partners to transform business processes in the areas of Non-Income Based Tax (NIBT) Compliances and Audit.

  • Analyze existing business processes and find opportunities to improve them by partnering closely with Tax business subject matter owners (SMO)

  • Ensure that the programs and portfolios are aligned to operational and strategic objectives, projects are selected, prioritized and resources allocated as per these business goals, design and track various program and portfolio performance metrics.

  • Enable team efficiency by facilitating knowledge transfers between departmental project teams.

  • Plan, design, implement, and test new applications for Tax, with the ability to tackle large and/or complex datasets. Test and train users on new processes and develop effective means to govern new systems and processes post release.

  • Research, generate, and present data and analytics needed to drive key business and process design decisions.

  • Evaluate and Implement best industry practices, design project management standards, guidelines and set up a project governance structure based on them.

  • Help assess new and emerging technologies for process simplification and automation to build quantifiable business value.

  • To oversee and manage all Goods and Services Tax (GST) Compliances and Audit matters for the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, optimizing GST processes, and effectively managing the organization's tax liabilities.
