This role offers training and development with continuing mentorship ongoing. • Flexible schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri or between 8:30am – 9:00am start time; averaging 38.75 hours/week. • Benefits: Yes, Randstad offers major medical insurance, dental, vision, and 401K. • Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr Position Overview: As a Legal Secretary, you will be working in a staff counsel law office; this Legal Secretary position is responsible for assisting attorneys, as part of a centralized team, with E-Filing, mail processing, calendaring and other administrative / clerical duties as assigned --all under the supervision of the attorney(s) and/or other legal personnel.

Responsibilities

• Process all incoming state and federal court e-filings and ensure accurate calendaring of court dates, input reminder dates into attorneys' calendars, correctly naming/re-naming of documents, uploading of documents to electronic files.

• Process all incoming paper mail once it is scanned into electronic form with the same expectations as those materials received via the e-fling process.

• To the extent necessary, prepare correspondence and legal papers in final form including.

• Ensure accuracy of attorneys' calendars and proper routing of documents to attorneys, legal assistants and clients.

• Performs other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading,

sorting and routing mail.

• Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system.

• Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents in State and Federal Courts including fax filing in State Courts

and E-Filing in Federal Courts.
