AstraZeneca is looking for a Personal Assistant for the VP of Global Supply Chain & Strategy & one other Therapy Area VP.
Are you a confident Personal Assistant with experience who has worked in a large global organisation and is looking to join a busy and diverse team?
Do you possess experience in arranging business travel, support with organising agendas/diary management and expense tracking?
Do you have high-energy, are you hardworking and willing to learn and develop yourself further and you possess excellent problem solving skills?

Respond on behalf of the VP to different stakeholders maintaining high professional standards whilst meeting conflicting needs
Handling and taking care of more complex or raised enquiries from other PA/secretarial staff
You will access the email accounts of Senior Managers to schedule their appointments and answer or redirect routine enquiries from internal or external sources.
You will accurately transcribe, type, format, and proofread a wide variety of material (for example correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.
You will use desk top publishing software to design more complex documents to support the work of the department they support.
You will provide specialist project based administrative support when required.
You will oversee internal and external meetings / conferences so that they run smoothly, including scheduling meeting times, making travel itineraries for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.
You will perform other administrative tasks using independent judgement and discretion.
You will prepare documents, presentation materials and official information releases and distribute to required stakeholders.
You may be required to coach and mentor less experienced secretarial help desk staff to help them resolve issues.
You will plan, organise, and schedule your own workload through system maintenance so that all activities are completed accurately and on time.
Prior PA Experience
Ability to follow processes
Good problem solving skills
Specialist knowledge in relation to administrative/business support activities in the business area
Competent in the use of office equipment and software
Written and spoken communication
Deep understanding of the local organisation, and extensive knowledge of how local business processes interface to other processes and information systems.
Ability to work with a wide range of data and reporting
Can build and maintain systems for efficiency for both self and others
Customer Service Skills
Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience
Team management skills
