Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software programs for both enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. Your expertise will be pivotal throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring adherence to principles, standards, processes, and tools. You'll work independently to achieve objectives with significant impact, taking ownership of projects or processes within your technical domain. Collaboration, leadership, and deep technical knowledge will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products.

  • Apply appropriate principles, standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.

  • Conduct software requirements analysis and analysis of hardware compatibility.

  • Develop software products and tools for design, development, and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms.

  • Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.

  • Take ownership of entire projects or processes within a technical area.

  • Coach and review the work of lower-level technical staff.

  • Develop technical solutions through collaboration, deep analysis, and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and client project team members.

  • Influence team members regarding solution design process and approaches.

  • Provide leadership and guidance within the technical domain.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Deep understanding of principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain.

  • Broad understanding of related specialty areas.

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor junior staff.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
