Your job

As our new Nordic IT Analytics & Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to our analytical digital journey. You will join our Nordic IT department, which consists of 21 employees and supports all Nestlé companies in the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland). Your main tasks will involve analyzing, designing, implementing, and deploying custom business dashboards.

In this position, key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with stakeholders to identify and understand their business objectives and guiding the design of corresponding dashboards/solutions.

  • Collecting and processing data from various sources; cleaning and ensuring accuracy and integrity of data; reviewing data for inconsistencies or anomalies.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving data engineering issues and optimizing performance.

  • Maintaining dashboards and databases to ensure data integrity; identifying reporting issues/gaps and driving timely resolutions; streamlining data collection processes.

  • Collaborating with the regional and global product management groups to understand current capabilities.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of IT operations. You should be able to coordinate information flow and follow processes and guidelines effectively. Additionally, you should possess the ability to educate business partners about IT Analytics & Data in a simple and understandable manner, as this will be a daily challenge.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we envision that you hold an Academic Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, which provides you with a solid foundation in Analytics & Data. Additionally, we anticipate that you have relevant experience in the IT field and a genuine passion for working with technology.

In addition to your technical expertise, we value the following people skills:

  • Strong desire for continuous learning and growth, both on a personal professional level.

  • Experienced user of Data Analytics tools (Power Bi, SQL, or similar) and Microsoft Office (incl. strong knowledge of Excel).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for making a difference and contributing to the success of Nestlé Nordics.
