Today, we are recruiting for a Depot Workshop Equipment Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Define the maintenance machines' specifications.

• Draft technically binding tenders and concepts and evaluate tenders’ responses received from machine suppliers.

• Prepare and write technical documents such as designs, method statements, and test procedures based on the input received by the machine suppliers.

• Check the interfaces on site to guarantee a smooth installation of the maintenance machines.

• Prepare the implementation, calculation, delivery, installation in collaboration with the machine suppliers, and commissioning of this maintenance machine in line with the project schedule and requirements.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Machine Construction

• 3-4 years of experience in planning workshop or factory equipment sourcing and implementation (delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning) in any production and maintenance industry.

• Project experience in the context of international customer or development projects is as desirable as technical team leadership experience.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

• No restrictions to travel.
