Description

The Senior Analyst/ Buyer of Procurement, HR and Legal is responsible for the analytical and contractual tracking and follow-up of Procurement activities across the HR and Legal spend categories, driving alignment between business and category strategies, and the alignment of our strategy aligned with regional needs, due to mapping of locations. The Senior Analyst/ Buyer of Procurement, HR and Legal will also support current Contingent Labor operations and the rollout of Kenvue’s new Contingent Labor program through exceptional project management, and stakeholder customer service. The Senior Analyst/ Buyer of Procurement, HR and Legal will also help design and implement advanced reporting across all of the sub-categories.

  • Ensure all procurement activities support the development and execution of category practices for selected sub-categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment

  • With strong category focus, the Sourcing analyst drives and supports the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers and the procurement operations team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze procurement data related to the sub-categories, including spend data, supplier performance data, and contract data.

  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the procurement function, including savings.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate procurement performance and provide insights to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with procurement professionals and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.

  • Analyze supplier proposals, contracts, and performance data to identify opportunities for negotiation and cost savings.

  • Develop and maintain procurement data models to support strategic decision-making.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement data management and analysis.

  • Monitor industry trends and developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the categories.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining data quality standards and performing regular data audits.

  • Communicate procurement data insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Ideally 2-3 years in HR procurement or vendor management type roles

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement data analytics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

  • Experience working with procurement software and tools, such as eProcurement, spend analytics, and contract management platforms.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices in the sub-categories.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
