Oncology Pricing Analyst

The objective of the Pricing Implementation team is to drive competitive advantage and performance of AZ brands by optimising price and reimbursement on a regional/global level. The Pricing Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Pricing Implementation Directors to deliver on their objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be essential in driving excellence in terms of knowledge management, pricing information and infrastructure

  • You will be responsible for the accurate tracking of prices and reimbursement information, maintenance of flexible pricing models and more broadly the infrastructure of the GPI team

  • You will be focusing on specific geography from a price management perspective supporting the Pricing Implementation directors and as he/she becomes more experienced take on direct relationship with Marketing Companies. T

  • You will support the GPI Director in Oncology in a wide range of analytical and market access projects designed to support AZ strategic decisions based on the team pricing expertise

  • You will manage pricing & market access databases & tools:

  • You will maintain reference pricing model by regular update of reference pricing rules, pricing and sales forecast data

  • You will maintain PRICE pricing/governance database up-to-date: validate and follow up on monthly basis data accuracy and completeness (based on sales and price lists, ad hoc validation against external sources) and monitor timing of submission

Experience

Essential:

  • Experience working as an Analyst within a finance or analytical team ideally gained in the pharmaceutical industry or within consulting, accounting or financial services

  • Experience in dealing with multiple Information Systems

  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to handle complex problem solving (involving many decision-makers and multiple, creative solutions)

  • Fluency in English

Desirable:

  • Track record of insights development

  • Pricing and reimbursement experience across or in a key market(s)

  • Clinical and/or health economics and outcomes research experience

Education

Essential:

  • University degree: finance, economics, health economics
