We are recruiting a (Senior)Finance Business Partner
In this role you are supporting the Swiss Affiliate to deliver the financial and business objectives. You will work with the Affiliate’s Senior Management Team and with the brand teams to achieve the strategic and operational goals through the strategy and performance cycle. You will need to proactively engage your internal customers, providing advice, guidance and support, enabling and influencing decision making to deliver and maximize the business objectives.
You will be recognized by your internal customers as a business expert with a specialization in Finance who actively shapes specific business initiatives. You will be part of a global network of Finance Business Partners and Business Analysts, sharing best practice and delivering valued support to the Business with global consistency and efficiency.
Your main tasks:
Lead the financial and business planning/forecasting cycles and reviews
Have joint accountability with the business for the accuracy of forecasts, with an excellent understanding of the business model and financial drivers and ensure the appropriate investment / resourcing.
Ensure clarity of the Risks & Opportunities embedded in the business plan.
Develop and own the forecasts in the own area of responsibility.
Coordinate the preparation or directly prepare the planning submissions, as well as the planning presentations
Prepare the presentations for key finance and business review meetings
Drive P&L management, ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual P&L reporting, cost control and resource allocation.
Track business performance, prepare variance analysis to deliver insightful management information
Provide high quality financial and commercial input / insight into investment decisions, challenge key forecasting assumptions based on analysis & benchmarking, identify risks & opportunities
Communicate effectively across teams, functions and with group finance to achieve a positive outcome.
Indirect management of GFS (Global Finance Services) colleagues in the Service Center in Warsaw
Identify and act on continuous improvement in processes, governance and business performance
Develop the financial understanding of the non-finance colleagues.
Qualified finance professional.
Experience in Finance Business Partnering/ Controlling
Experience in working in a global pharmaceutical organization. Desirable understanding of the drug development life cycle, commercial as well as market access aspects.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills (oral & written)
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Analytical Thinking: Very good analytical thinking and numerical understanding
Problem solving & solution orientation: Safe handling of complex tasks; Critical and quick thinking; Decision-making ability and goal-orientation
