As a Senior Auditor at Whole Foods Market, you'll play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to transparency, accuracy, and compliance.

Additional Information:

This role will observe the 3-day hybrid office model and be based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Record and verify company sales and cash transactions, aligning with GAAP standards.

• Oversee the point-of-sale audit process across all our stores, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Dive deep into sales trends, identifying and addressing any discrepancies in retail sales and cash flow.

• Offer valuable insights on improving business processes, internal controls, and compliance measures.

• Assist in prioritizing requirements and testing for sales, cash and/or accounting related projects.

• Collaborate closely with IT teams to enhance retail sales systems, including mobile and e-commerce platforms.

• Support finance management with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, showcasing your expertise in problem-solving.

  Skills:

• Masterful knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and related standards, ensuring meticulous compliance.

• Deep understanding of retail operations and sales flow, coupled with the ability to design effective financial models.

• Proficiency in applying standard audit methodologies to analyze complex financial and non-financial data.

• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting findings and solutions to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.

• Proven track record of driving efficiency and service improvement through process enhancements.

  Education & Experience:

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
