Continental HR Generalist in Alor Setar, Malaysia

Recruiting & Hiring:

  • Responsible to advertise the open position on the selected channels internally & externally

  • Responsible to screen through the applicants for the right open position

  • Responsible to schedule an interview session for the online/offline interview and assessment center

Onboarding & Performance Appraisal Review:

  • Responsible to prepare welcome note/welcome slide

  • Responsible to manage welcome kits stock and set up for onboarding day

  • Responsible to schedule onboarding session with trainer

  • Responsible to schedule performance appraisal review for new hire under probationary

HR System - claims & e-exit:

  • Responsible in handling HR system for E-claims & E-exit.

  • Responsible for employee confirmation letter/GL

  • Responsible to update the system for employee movement and organization chart and JD

Operation:

  • Support as representative for HR in Business Team Meeting.

Quality:

  • Accept the responsibility and striving for excellence in all work processes and outcomes, honoring organization policies and all regulatory requirements

Safety and Environment:

  • Understanding and adherence to environmental, safety and health policy, procedures and regulations issued by ESH Department and also to take care of own safety as well as working colleagues within the plant premises.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or IT related field

  • Proven success working in an HR department

  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft software

  • Knowledge of local and national laws and regulations related to employment

  • Professional experience (at least 2-3 years)

  • Experience in working with international teams is preferable

  • Must be proficient in English: Verbal and written

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness

  • Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies

  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resource Information System and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
